Big thanks back to you and Ron for planning the ride and to Ron and Paul for leading the way.  We had a good time, enjoyed the company and the stops at the hotel and ferry.  It was a nice day to be out on the bikes.  We are hoping to be able to make the ride next Wednesday.

OK VV Bikers. Here it is. The BIG ride of the season. Next wednesday we will be leaving the hall at 9:30 am as usual where we will procede to 281 and North to Falfurrias. We will be turning East on 285 to Rivera, across 77 and East on 771 to the bay. There we will have lunch and for those truely adventurous try the "Fish Ribs". This restaurant overlooks the bay and beach. After lunch we will go back to 77 Highway and head South to Raymondville. Then West on 186 to 281 and South to Home. So get the bikes ready to enjoy a all day run. See you at the hall Wednesday morning.

The long ride last wednesday was a great success. The weather was good with light winds and nice temperatures. The sea food was well received.

Now for next Wednesday, we are suggesting a shorter ride.  A ride to the Santa Ana Wildlife refuse just east of town on 281. I have checked and we can take the wildlife tram tour at 12 noon. $3.00 each or $25 if our group is large enough. We can eat at a restaurent before or after. And then ride back to VV. I will be calling around to get the response of the group.
This ride may be delayed due to rain or cancled.

Since Ron and I will be returning up North on the 19th, there will be no scheduled ride Wednesday the 16th.  Instead we suggest we get together the morning if the 12th and all ride together to the motorcycle museum just East of Edenburg.
I will be calling around to get the groups response on this as well. If you have questions on either ride call me at 519-4535.
This ride should not have any weather problems. Footnote - Anyone coming to the Saturday ride- We will meet at the hall for a 11:30 AM departure. The museum opens at 12 Noon.

The ride to the museum in Edinburg is over. Hopefully those attending had an enjoyable time. The Mexican restaurant after the museum was good food. I would rate it as a successful day and a good ending to a enjoyable winter in the valley. I hate to go back North, but if I stay down here, the money will run out and we won't be able to come back. So I would like to wish everyone a great summer and we will see you next December. Ride Safe.
